honda factory suspension
well honda is now offering some type of performance package that offers a body kit, rims, spoiler, shift **** and a suspension.
Do you guys think it is worth buying the suspension from them that is a 1" drop. that way no alterations have to be done like with koni etc.
i don't know how much honda would ask for it but i am just curious

I am trying to find out what they are going to cost as well. I am dropping my car about 1" with Tein springs and if these shocks handle a 1" drop this would be great to have when my stockers blow.

It is too expensive, it does absolutely nothing and you can get better parts for cheaper. The only thing you retain is the warrenty.

i've been working with honda trying to get them to sell FP parts individually. however, i have been unsuccessful. i give them credit for trying to cater to people like us but the FP package is just way overpriced for what you're getting. one could buy aftermarket rims, body kit, and suspension for half the price of the FP package.
well, i can get the fp suspension all by itself through AHM. I work for honda however, its not that much moeny for just the front/rear suspension. it comes with shocks and springs and the badging.
i was wondering how much you all would think it is worth, ie, whats the max you would spend on true hfp suspension with badging?

true.. for the price you're better off getting the 'overs...Anyways, I thought they pulled the sport upgrade? Besides, regardless of the better price you get from aftermarkets, the true benefit is the selection and variation on parts... i.e. koni quality and versatility versus honda's prefab oe overpriced marketing ploy package...the whole fun is adding and changing and re-adding... none a dat 'in-a-box' stuff...
hondas parts are top quality and are proven to offer years of problem free operation. i agree, for the $4000 price tag for all the parts, it is high, but it isnt that high for the suspension alone. maybe ill buy the wheels too, but what to do with my 17's?

NO DOUBT...I had my springs installed, paid $180 for it. BAD IDEA
Then I got the Koni's and I didn't want to pay AGAIN so I just had a friend, BlueRevs here, help me out and VOILA...KONI/NEUSPEED BABY!!!
I'm SOO glad I did it myself! Saved $$$, had a BLAST doing it, laughing the whole time, cussing at bolts, cussing at wrenches, cussing at the neighbors we were keeping up...it's just WAY MORE FUN TO DO IT YOURSELF!!!
