how to fix exhaust hitting sway bar?

my exhaust hits my sway bar alot when i make left turns. how can i fix this? i used to have a rubber tubing around the sway bar so it didnt make any noise and it worked, but it used to always slide away because i had it on with zip ties. anyone got any suggestions besides getting the exhaust worked on? thanks for the help.

tie the exhaust back. put something around it to keep it from moving.

I guess you could always glue the rubber piece to the sway bar... kind of ghetto, but it's not like anyone'll see it

do you think the glue will hold it and not wear off from the exhaust rubbing against it? should i use super glue? ill do that if it will work.

You need to put some thermal wrap around it. That won't fall off and should provide enough cushion.

Thanks. Yeah it's basically the wrap people put around the header. So it can take the heat from the exhaust pipe. If you put a few layers, it should dampen the rattle.

if you dont have a custom midpipe and was looking to getting one.... get one that'll go around the sway bar.

i have a custom mid pipe with a magnaflow exhaust. made it go around the 19mm rear sway bar.... have a lot of clearance still.

Get re-done.
Just go to muffler shop and let them bend exhaust pipe.
Should be 5 mins fix.

what you can try is go get some more exhaust bushings from honda there like a dollar. and use them to keep the exhaust put. youll need to change them ever so often since they streatch out more due to the heavier exhaust. thats what i ended up doing and it works great for me

i use the thermal heat tape wrap, works great. put it on there about 7 months ago and it hasn't budged, but i wraped mine around on the exhaust not the sway bar.

problem fixed, well-kinda. i went to the hardware store and puchased a thick piece of rubber tubing that was the exact length of the sway bar in that section. the tubing fits perfect in that section and doesnt move around anymore, but i still used 4 zipties to secure it on. it doesnt make any noise anymore, so im happy.

I wonder why ppl are having problem on exhaust hitting sway bar on left turns...I changed my sway bar and doesn't hit anything...Is that because of the size of the bar?
