I bought my Sportlines in January 2003, no problems yet... no sagging and they still feel the same. Not quite 3 years but I dont anticipate any problems.

What spring are you running and how do you like them on the stock struts/shocks?

The ones I have in mind are:
Eibach Prokit
Tein S. tech
Tein H.
Eibach Sportlines
H&R

More susggestion are welcome.

p.s. I do not want a full coil over system or sleeved coilovers at this time, thanks for the help.

anything below two inches should be fine. my suggestion would be to pick up some neuspeed sport springs. 175f 1.5r ....perfect drop. pm "peteriap" for a great price on them.

prokit = sweet

I put the prokit in my 01 ex about 5 months ago. A month or so ago I decided the bounding was getting untolerable. Can't wait to drop in some konis. I'm sure the stock shocks would last a long time with the prokit if you're driving style is mild at worst. I drive rather erratically and occasionally hit potholes so my stockies are shot. The first couple months were great. No fluid leaked outta the shocks and the handling was nice. Now if I corner and there are bumps or when I'm taking a turn on the interstate going way too fast, I feel out of control like the wheels aren't making positive contact with the road. Know what I mean? Moral: As it's been said before, if you go low, you'll need shocks sooner rather than later.

Hmm...There was a good sale on Tenzo springs here that I was gonna take up. Springs only though. Now that I've heard how just swapping springs can ruin the stock shocks, maybe I'll hold off and do the whole swap with shocks at once...

stock springs are the best for stock shocks. if you're looking at aftermarket springs, you might look into investing into shocks as well...

prokit

[QUOTE=Zzyzx]I run sport lines, and Yes its not that much of a drop, but tied in with the right anti-roll bars will make for a Very well handling car.

THis is with 205/40-17

hi,

I thought you said you have the "black one" from previous thread...so you should have the prokit not sport line?

You also have Koni don't you?
