spring install time

(i looked around for this--not very hard, though :/--but i couldn't find anything)

i just bought some goldlines and i printed out mex's DIY spring install. i was planning on installing them during my auto tech class, but when i went today, my teacher said the period wasn't long enough to do the whole job (and it's a two-hour period!).

anyway, i was wondering, for those of you that installed your own springs, how long did it take? what i was gonna do was install just the fronts one day, and then the rears the next. it shouldn't take more than two hours for just the fronts, should it? well, i have no idea, so let me know, please.

thanks

Do you have any experience? If not, it might take you around 4-5 hours for all 4. I installed my coilovers and it took me a long *** time, but that's because I had no previous experience.

I would say about an hour per spring. Since you should have the right tools.

Yeah if you have the right tools and some people that have experience then it should be 45 min to an hour per wheel.

Good Luck, post pics when done.

Took me 6 hrs to do coilovers solo, about 5 to do a set of springs with a friend. I don't think you can get it done in 2 hours unless you've got someone working on each corner.

Project2k2 is on a distinguished road
I do a lot of spring installs around here. It's starting to become how I make my extra money. LoL. It usually taked me about 3 hours with a hand. If I did it myself, it wont take that much longer but 3-4 hours is about right.

I have installed about 15 sets of springs in various civics and with a hand it still takes 3-4 hours no matter what.

A friend and I installed goldine springs on a 2001 coupe, did the entire job in under 70 minutes. I took the front, he took the back

thanks for using my DIY btw

Took little over 2 hours to install new springs with friend.
Took little longer than we should've done.
Tie rod didn't come off on driver side for while.
We installed Springs couple times before though.
First time, When I installed Tein ss on my ex. Took about 4 hours.
