Question Neuspeed Sport Lowering Springs

I just purchased some NEUSPEED SPORT LOWERING SPRINGS for my 03 Civic Coupe with stock shocks. Does anyone know how the quality is and ride? Is this a good investment?

i have them too...the ride is stiffer. and since there's a shorter travel from the shocks it'll be bouncier on uneven asphalt. neuspeed recommends that you don't cut your stock bumpstops.
its a good investment, just get some shocks like koni....

When i had them, i liked them a lot. It had the perfect spring rate. A lot stiffer than its competition. Drop wasnt low enough but its as low as i'd recommend on stock struts.

speaking of that, i just got goldlines and i was about to install them tomorrow using the DIY on this site (Mex's, i think). the DIY says to cut the bumpstops, but do i really need to? and what does that do anyway?

Neuspeed Sports seem to be a solid investment, IMO. Of course, apparently you already made your decision. I've had mine for almost a year now. Once, I figured out how to get rid of the creaking noises, I was good to go. Lasted about 7 months with the stock struts and then I got the Konis on, which I would plan on doing if I were you. Depends on how much you drive it. I'm daily! Two thumbs up, IMO!!

The bumpstops are a form of protection for when you fully compress your suspension. Basically theyre rubber or hard foam protectors that are on the shock/strut shaft, that stop your suspension from smashing metal to metal.

I believe that Goldline recomends that you trim your bumpstops, though I dont recall how much. When you lower your car, you have less suspension travel. If you dont trim the bumpstops when lowering, your car may hit the bumpstops more frequently giving you a rough ride.

Can I ask why you bought something without first finding out if they were a good investment. Sorry, it is just a pet peeve of mine. Do research, then buy....You see this is how RICE happens.

I actually asked several people about the neuspeeds and so far many people say it's good. I just wanted to see what other people thought of it, to see if I made a good investment or not? Hopefully the Neuspeeds give me a sweet ride....

I thought about the sports, but they weren't low enough for me, so I went RACE!!!

Now I'm slammed and either have no gap or not even a finger, it's nice. They ride decent for lowering springs on stock shocks (blown in the rear) and I know they'll perform excellent when the Konis are bought.

Ok heres mi .02 cents. I have had them on my car, 03 civic coupe lx, for about a 1000 miles.

Pros;
Good ride not bouncy
lower even all around
easy install ( make sure you know the struts changed in 2002.5 and are different then what is on the diy, cause for the sqeaking)
stiffer then stock
way better control in handliong

Cons:
Bumpsteer cause of moved tie rods
sudden bumps or big deep pot holes are teeth jarring
Personally i have convinced my self that the front sits higher

all in all there what you get for the money. They are far better them stock and if you are carefull you can make your stock struts live for a while. BUt I just put my *** in line for some hayame coilovers cause i am not completly happy with the neuspeed.
