NE1 have Mugen Coilovers?
Looking for softest dropped ride. Mugen (EP3) spring rates are 283 front, 439 rear according to King Motorsports. Fronts seem too light and I'm concerned about roll couple distribution. But actual experience would be best guide. Anyone have em on a vic sedan yet? P.S. I searched.

They can't be used. The spring lengths are set up for the RSX and Si, our front springs are shorter, the rears are longer. Whatever their drop says would be thrown off.

Funny thing is, I wrote to King Motorsports and they said EP3 model would fit perfectly. But your advice makes sense. So I guess its gonna be Tein or Hayame. Thanks Boilermaker 1.

They told me that too, but I don't think they realize that the dimensions are different, since they probably never have to deal with the regular civics.

ok wait a minute....i relize the Stock springs are different...but if its a coilover setup not just the spring shock combo it should not be a problem.....i have the ep3r tein flex coilovers and no problems with fitment or ride

If they are an adjustible ride height coilover then you'd be able to compensate for the different spring rates, if its a fixed ride height (spoon) then you can't, and will have to run springs made for the EM2

If he was talking about the Mugen/Moton adjustable coilover kit, it would be a totally different story.

This is from Kingmotorsports.com
"Mugen has also addressed any bumpsteer issues with the relocation of the steering arm."
Mugen Sports Kit
I wonder if this would cause a problem for installation on our car??

The fact no one has bought the Mugens indicates they probably don't fit on our cars. Sure wish someone would try them out and show pics. Too bad we don't have Mugens for EM2 because I hear they do fix the bump steer problem and ride real nice -- performance without the discomfort of stiff coilovers. Anyways, thanks for all yr comments.
