Question 04 ex coupe, need help info 2 lower it, im new 2 this stuff

hi honda people, found this site thru cardomain.com i got a 04 civic ex coupe, and wanna get into ricers. i want it lowered but a kid with a 00 told me if the lower it the back wheels bow out and ya eat thru tires. is there anything out there 2 set it up right, i dont even know where 2 begine and b4 i take it 2 a custom place i wanna at least know somthing. any help here?

id like it lowered round an inch with 18rims and 40 series tires.

wow, your Q was HARD TO UNDERSTAND. took me couple of times to read it.

anyways, lower with full coilover or spring and shock combo, than you need a rear camber kit.
The back wheel won't
bow out and ya eat thru tires

depends on your need,

you can find parts on www.tornactive.com or www.dezod.com (it has a 7thgen section there)

before you go on, i suggest you to read more on the suspension forum first, than you'll understand more.

Just start clicking through threads on this entire suspension forum. You'll learn alot just by reading other people's problems/questions.

The main key is to learn before lowering. Good luck.

please search, read the FAQ and suspension tuning 101. I don't want to be an ***, but all it takes is a little effort on your part to search through this forum for answers. Everyone will have their own opinion and you didn't mention what you want to do with your car besides lowering it. So please search and read the forum.
