Sway Bar hitting my exhaust
hey wats up...i just got my tein installed and my back is jacked up 10 notches from the bottom.......i never had a problem with my exhaust nor my sway bar before then....I got my car back and i took a left hand turn to explore my tein and i get this bad sound of the sway bar rubbing against my greddy evo exhaust.....is there anything i can about this to make it stop? please help the sound is horrible .....thanx...

You're gunna have to get different lenth exhaust hangers and also put some tower hose clamps around where the hanger goes to keep it tight... thats what I did and the rattle is gone, later...

get some kind of rubber bushing and cut a slit along one edge.. i used a sway bar bushing from one of those handy HELP! kits... then place it on the bar and put some kind of zip tie on each side to keep it from moving.. yeah i know.. its kinda ghetto... but it works great and no one can see it...

I started a thread about noise coming from my rear suspension after installing a Type-S sway bar (19mm). After some invesitgation, I'm pretty sure that THIS is my problem. I'm going to (somehow) shorten my exhaust mounting clips (I'm running stock exhaust now). Hopefully this will fix my problem.
