strut bar install throwing off alignment?
Hey guys
I recently installed a neuspeed front strut bar. In order to fit it properly, I had to jack up the driver's side of the car and loosen the inner nut. The outer two nuts were already completely off and I had to loosen the third one to move the bolts enough to align with the strut bar.
Anways, I've been driving the car and it handles great!! I did notice though that the car seems to be pulling a little more than usual. Could the installation of the strut bar or the strut bar itself be throwing my alignment off?

mine does the same thing but i dont know if its due to the strut bar. i also have the neuspeed along with the progress anti-sway, but i am just gonna wait till my new rims arrive and worry about the alignment job then.

all you had to do is unbolt the top bolts in the engine bay... why did you do all that extra stuff... and everytime you mess with ur suspention such as taking something off and on like shocks, even to the same height, you are messing up with the alignment...

It's possible to get some movement in the top of the strut after you losen the mount bolts. This CAN give a change in camber/caster. Granted very little but ther is a possibility that it could make enough difference to cause a pull afterwards. I would suggest getting the alignment checked to be on the safe side.
ur not suppose to lift up the car for the installation of the strut bars

looks like ur going to have to go to the alignment shop

what are u talking about? i just checked all the neuspeed front upper strut installation and i don't see anywhere that it says to left up the car
if u lift the car and take the strut bolts off, u can miss up the alignment
