Sleeved Coilovers: Which set to choose?

Hey, I did a little research on the site about lowering my car, and i discovered I want to pick up some sleeved coilovers. Now, i saw a list of brands that I could possibly pick up, and I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on which brand. FYI: Im probably not going to replace the shocks if that changes anything.

The only sleeves I would ever consider putting on my car would be Ground Controls, but I wouldn't do them without swapping shocks too. Why? Cuz you're just gonna blow the OEM ones and sooner or later you'll have to change them anyways, might as well do it right the first time.
But by the time you've done that, you could have just bought a set of Tein Basics and been done with it.

ya i dont recommend getting sleeved coilovers.
I had ground controls and i HATED it. They are just way too soft... if your going to keep stock shocks stick with springs.

but ya if you must stick with ground control or skunk2 depending on what you want. i prefer stiff so i'd say skunk2.

I wouldn't keep the OEM shocks.
1. They're too soft for higher spring rates
2. Lowering the car is going to blow them faster, so you're just going to have to take them out and replace them anyways. Might as well just take the car apart once.

With oem shocks, none of those. unless you are looking for low drop. Get tein s tech springs or eibach prokit, Tiny drop but noticilble differences from stock. Its really up to you though. You will still need to replace oem shocks eventually. Neuspeed race springs are too stiff and low , you will most likely need to replace shocks very quickly. Progress springs sags on sedans. skunk2 sleeved coiilovers IF you are looking to slam your car. If you have enough money to buy fullcoilovers, get tein basic and camber kit and call it a day. MEX made good DIY spring install. search for it. Install springs yourself with your buddies. Install can be done in less than 2 hours. You willl still need to get realignment after spring install.

progress sucks... not sure how skunk2 and intrax springs are. neuspeed race is ya a little too stiff for oem shocks. i think neuspeed sports is just perfect for stock shocks.

OK - well Im lookin for some feedback on the idea of Ractive springs, 2" drop. Maybe different shox, not sure. Prolly in the future. More than likely the Ractive springs cause of $$ reasons. Wuddya guys think? Are they good/bad, reliable? How long might they last? How long might the OEM shox last if i don't shiz-kick my car, which I don't.

Ractive=apc . Come on now, Springs are relatively cheap , Tein s tech springs are less than 150 shipped on ebay anytime. Most of aftermarket lowering springs are less than $200. If you get Ractive springs. You will most like need camber kit too ,So thats another 100 for camber kit.

whether or not your shocks blow, the ride is going to suck anyways. handling is going to be crappy too. trust me when i say stick with springs if your going to use stock shocks.
