They give you packets of grease with them. the bushings are grooved on the inside to allow grease to sit in there. I put my sway bar bushings on awhile ago and they squeek a little. When I put my control arm bushings on, I am prepared for mad squeeking, but if you grease them well enough they shouldn't squeek. However, you will need to grease them througout their time on the car. Now I am not sure how that is done, but I think it involves some sort of greasing gun/pump. From what I understand, I beleive the greasable ones are better.

everything really is greasable... its just they make the grooves withing the bushing so the grease wont come out when installed.

they also have a hole in the bushing and the bracket, so that greasing it will be easier.

as for grease... any type of rubber/metal grease that you can find should be okay... although there's different types in that they can withstand different temperature and driving condition... etc.

I dont even remember what I used... just this bottle i have that i apply over the bushings now and then.. havne't heard any squeeks yet so until I do I wont reapply.

The greasable ones have a little nipple and grooves on the inside that hold grease. The non grease-able ones have little grooves on the inside as well. I guess they should really call them "re-greasable". Anyway, whatever... They're good. I have them. I also have a grease gun. I grease them up from time to time. Actually... Good idea. I'll do that today. I simply place the grease gun over the nipple and squeeze the trigger until grease starts to flow out from the seams. Works.
