Hard Banging noise with coilovers!!!

Just got my r1's installed with my stock shocks. Every little bump on the road I get this loud bang on the front driver side. I also noticed my driver side is lower than the passenger side. I know that if I raise it up again the sleeve won't move. But then I'm jacked up again. Any body have this problem before? Just want to eliminate as much of that bang as possible. Thanks for any info guys......

First of all, bad choice with r1 sleeved coilovers. You cant really do anything about loud noice . since you have stock struts. That sound wont go away. Save up and replace struts or buy fullcoilovers Do you have any noise when you turn your steering wheel in slow speed? If so this is what you can do.

Some people are having problems with the dong sound coming from when turning the suspension. I believe that this is what is causing it, and will help if you do what is in the picture below. I used white lithium grease for mine.Even though we did not use any grease, I recommend doing it just in case. This pic was taken from Hondamans how to and I just added the arrows and such.
got it from ephatch. that should help.

and make sure you bolted tight all bolts.

I can't see the picture....I pm'ed you thanks for replying. Is there any way that I can weld the sleeve to the strut to keep it from moving? Any thing like spacers to soft tension springs to keep the sleeve from moving?

switch back to stock and put those POS r1's in the trash where they belong. Save up for something NOT cheap and install that. Those coilovers will blow out your stock struts very fast.

ditch those coils....

plus i had that problem with all my cheap sleeeved coils... you got them installed improperly... you have to remove a piece but i forgot which one hehehe

anywyas i paid like 1500 Canadian installing and buying drop zones and ground controls... ALL JUNK! save your hassle and buy true coils... I have KW right now and they're pretty good.
