Just curious as to the point of re-inforcing the fender...
I don't see much point. The strut towers can be tied together, then they're hooked up to the subframe on the bottom... that makes a box.... so I don't think that will help the suspension. The fenders are just aero parts... they're not really load bearing, Looks like you're hooking the door frame up to the fender. Just doesn't look to make much sense... it doesn't look like it'll stiffen anything useful. I suppose if you can completely compress the suspension, it'll keep the fender from bending, but if you do it right, your suspension shouldn't hit the bumpstops.

theres many people who have been using this sort of brace for a long while j's makes it for the EF(88-91) ....it stiffens up the front end more ive ridden in my buddies hacth with them in it and it was alot more stable than my hacth without the braces....makes the front more rigid....
also its not the fender being supported its the frame rail being supported

Good luck! I've been thinking of that mod for a long long time now. Maybe half a year or so... I'de love to know which one fits our cars (with or without some modification).

i found a good way to see the upper hinge though if u open ur door and look from above u may be able to see into the fender area and see how it mounts
