Hi,

New around here. This is my first post. Got a question on suspension I would like to ask u guys.

Been driving my 02' Civic Sedan around for the past 1 year and 6 months. But as always, I do not feel that the suspension is as rigid as the Corolla. When I go through uneven surfaces, it does not sound like its absorbing the bump too well. With corollas, I can hear sounds like "boop boop" (a very rigid sound) but with my civic, its kinda like things get rattled. Is this civic suspension???? I send to the service center and they say its ok and nothing is wrong with the suspension. I feel that the damping is not enough. What you guys think?

Also, the suspension is bit on the hard side, especially the back. It jumps when u try to go through road bumps fast. They (honda) told me that its like that because the spring is shorter and thus harder. Any solution? I do not wan to sacrifice the road handling performance. If anyone of u heard of the Proton Waja, I think their suspension is great (Lotus tuned).

my girlfriend 04 civic is the same way. Like the suspension sucks. On my 02 the suspension really sux but I dropped it with H&R. I think it is because of the new suspension that honda put for the 7th gen
