I had to use hose clamps on my front hanger because the downpipe kept hitting the x-brace and caused rattling. Other than that I still have no turbo kit, so I can't really tell you about the wheel hop thing. It helps in cornering though!

I'm wondering if the Cross bar woud be legal for STS nationaly....
17.8 Suspension
G. Strut bars are permitted with all types of suspension. Strut bars may be mounted only transversely across the car from upper right to upper left suspension mounting point and from lower right to lower left suspension mounting point. No other configuration is permitted. Additional holes may be drilled for mounting bolts. Only bolt-on attachment is permitted.
Does the X brace fit thies rules?
I'm wondering this because I think I'm going to the Nationals next year 2004 and Dont want to get disqualified just for a cross brace.
its the No other configuration is permitted part that bothers me, because the X brace dosnt attach to the suspension Mounts any where, its a subframe reinforcement.

regionaly they ushually dont give a damn, Nationaly they are VERY strict on the rules, and allow for Very Little creative interpretation.
Next year will be my first national Event,
The first National Tour for the 2004 season
will be held January 23-25 at the
Arizona Motorsports Park in Litchfield, AZ.
Its only about 280 miles from Las Vegas.

I know, and since it's a race that you'll be participating in, it's not like you can just fly and watch... cause you kinda need your car. Hope you do well, what kinda prize money at stake?
