i had that noise when i put in my sprint springs. i was told that it was normal and should go away after a few weeks. unfortunatley it did go away yet came back. it happened only when i turned the steering wheel to the left, like gradually bigger "DING" and popping noises the more i turned left. and just one ding when i turned right.

however, i now have neuspeed race springs, and i dont have any of those sounds. nor did i ever get them, even right after i installed them.

You know I have the same problem. Only time it makes any kind of noise is when I turn the steering wheel. I have the Eibach sports.
Im going to try to either greese the springs or shoot WD40 on them.
I will repost to let you know if that works...

this is caused by a few things
1) the top bolt isnt on tightly
2) spring isolators weren't used and the springs are rubbing/hitting each other
3) for the popping noise the top rubber perch wasnt aligned correctly. you'll see that one side is narrower than the other. the end of the spring go in the narrow side.

David, I'm supposed to be getting Progress Springs and when I get them installing, is there anything in particular that I need to tell the guy? Like, make sure the spring isolators aren't used?

Hey Dave...do you know why my right rear and my left front wheel are lower than the other two?

tell him what i said? haha i dunno... spring isolators you can put it on before he installs the springs. basically all you really want to do is isolate the coils so that they dont touch each other. they should have come with the stock springs but many people including myself never got them. what you can do is buy "coil wrap" from any radio shack and wrap it around the coils on the springs.
as for the top, eh you can try explaining it to the installer. thats why its always nice to DIY, you pay extra attention to the little things..

what springs do you have? i've heard of the driver side being lower than the passenger side but never the opposite corners being lower than the other opposite corners

I have Tanabe springs...
Well the biggest problem that I have is that passenger's rear tire...you can totally see the negative camber. And the driver side is okay. Maybe my passengers are wearing my springs down???

well if the pasenger rear is lower of course your going to have more negative camber than the other... not exactly sure what's causing it to sit like that... i didnt even know it was possible(for the opposite corners to sit lower than the other corners)
i'm not too sure but from what people are describing, it sounds like a long rubber/plastic strip. i think someone posted a picture of it before.
i guess electric tape would work, kinda thin/ghetto tho. but then again coil wrap is kinda ghetto too but whatever works...
hell i've heard of people using a garden hose... whatever works...
