the risk is that you will have a really crappy ride
just get some good shocks as well
im not sure of the good combos, people will vary on what they think is the best, i suggest true coilovers, like tein flex, ss, or basic

well I'll say we put tech 5 springs on and left the rest stock. i don't like the handling all that much but I drive the Celi now all the time so hard to compare. But they've been on for a few thousand miles now w/noproblem cept the camber went off finally. other than that all good. It depends the most though onhow you drive & where you drive.

when you blow out your struts, a seal is broken and oil leaks out. basically its like not having shocks at all. just springs. shocks are there to improve ride quality, if you have no shocks or they're blown your ride sucks
"whats good springs to get for my car to drop it without risking to blow out the struts??"
whatever spring you use you always run the risk of blowing your shocks. even with stock springs your shocks are bound to blow. my friend his a pot hole pretty hard and his shocks were blown.
basically when you get lowering springs you are putting extra stress on the shock. lower the drop the more stress you put the more chances of blowing the shock. also stiffer the spring rate the better chance of blowing out the shock
