b&g just installed!

I just got my b&g's installed and the ride is nice. The cornering is not as good as I thought it would be, I mean it is good, but not that hard. I know I cant adjust them, but what is a good thing to do to make the cornering better? Is this right for them to be kind of soft around turns. As well, the rear seems to be not as hard as the front.

Welcome to the B&G Family.

As far as improving cornering, I'd recommend the following in the order of importance.

1. RSX 19mm rear sway bar (or bigger)
2. Neuspeed Front upper strut bar
3. Poly bushings on F & R sway bars
4. tie bars all around.

I'd recommend these items in this order:
1) Neuspeed Front upper strut bar (you'll notice the difference right away)
2) Neuspeed X-brace -(increased stability at all speeds, more BMW-like)
You'll be amazed at the transformation and your really just fixing the front-end flex problem our cars have.
I haven't done the struts\springs yet, but I have a lot more performance then stock.

No pops, creaks, squeaks? Good if you don't since a lot of others seem to have had those problems.....

welcome to the B+G family

sorry, but you cannot adjust the damper settings. the B+G's have the S3 system (speed sensitive suspension). it automatically adjusts your damper settings to road conditions and your speed. so if you're driving slow, it will soften the dampers, but if you drive fast, the dampers will stiffen. so if you take a corner slowly, the cornering wont be as stiff. but if you take that same corner at a higher speed, it will be stiffer.

what these guys said is right though, upgrade the front and rear sway bars. and get strut bars all around. get the neuspeed upper front strut bar, neuspeed x-brace (lower front). pretty much any upper rear strut bar (spoon preferably, but the obx works fine too). and a good lower rear tie bar

Reading over the thread again...
I would put on that "cheap strut bar" you say you have, and if you can notice the big difference I felt, just use it.
I bought the Neuspeed because I have more trust in their products, which I think decreases my chance of problems down the line.
But if yours works and wears well, then you found a better value then I did.
There is no way I'll drive without my front upper strut bar again, and come to think of it...I'd really hate to live without my X-Brace.
You might get more performance outta the rear sway, but I dunno I haven't got mine yet.
The flex was just driving me mad, so it was more like fixing problems then adding performance, and fixing is my priority.....anywayz, the end result is that it did both and the car is much more sporty.
So you got the B&G's... now just put on the finishing touches.

Good point about the Germans...
So you really like the ride quality?
How's the freeway ride, road noise, and the bigger bumps?

BTW, does anyone know the spring rates on the B&Gs?
