Question kw coilover install problem, help pls.

ok...this morning, i started installing my KW coilover...however, when i was trying to reinstall with the new KW coilover, i encountered a problem...the two oem bolts that goes to the strut and the rotor does not fit...i seems that the holes on the kw coilover is smaller than the oem struts...WHAT SHOULD I DO?? did anybody have this problem with thier tiens and b+g?? i have a 2003 civic coupe.

Yeah, you need to use the bolts from a 2001. dunno why honda has to do this, but the sizes changed from 2002-2003.

I really like how the camber can be adjusted with that top bolt

If the SPC front camber kit for the 2003 civic is the same as the 2001 - than you should have no problem. I installed the camber kit when I installed my KW's and the bolts fit......The factory bolts fit as well, but that was because I had a 2001.....

Jedo,

Sounds like you have the new generation upper strut mount bearing. Is the KW upper spring perch designed to fit the 02+ bearing or the 01 bearing?

Thank you,

Terry

the upper spring mount will not fit well on the 2003 upper mount. i'm looking to get the 2001 mount maybe it will fit well.
