---update---
so I jacked up my car and took the wheel off the car to see if i can figure out what's broken. from what i can see, the left Y shape arm (lower control arm?) has a tear in it and disconnected from the front sway bar. (there is a litttle joint that connects the sway bar and the control arm, and it got disconnected on the control arm's side) So i tried to pry the lower control arm back to normal and alignment the wheel a bit. The steering is almost back to normal, althought there is still a small pull. the noise from the back seems to disappeared after i put the wheels back on and i can't see what's wrong in the rear.
so here is my questions:
1. how much does the left lower control arm cost?
2. can i replace it myself or do i have to take it to the shop?
TIA
---first post---
ok, today the craziest thing happened. when i am driving to school and i exited a freeway ramp, the floor layers on the ramp had different levels and my car just jumped up (like came out of a pothole). and since the exit ramp is a turn, my car just lost traction and my car first hit one side, and then bounced back to the other, until finally i can regain control...the only good thing that came out of it is i didn't hit any car and my car has no visible body damage i know of.
now to the bad news...my steering wheel is off-centered...i can see one of my front rims doesn't point straight...steering is noticibly(sp?) worst, won't return center immediately after i pull to one side...noise came from rear of the car (the rear suspension, i am guesssing)...not to mention my rims got scratched up at the lip...
so i want to know
1. if anyone know if anything is messed up? I can't see any fluid coming out or anything.
2. Can I just take my car to an alignment shop and they can fix it back to normal?
3. Should I get a camber kit for easier alignment even thought my car is not lowered?
4. anyone good aftermarket parts I can replace the oem ones if I needed to replace anything? (ie lower control arm)
i know the post is kind of long, but please help
thx

1. the stock suspension should last the lifetime of the car, if you think there is something wrong with it, take it to the dealer and get it replaced by warranty
2. yes take it to an alignment shop, it should make your car back to normal
3. you don't need a camber kit if your car is stock height
4. there is no aftermarket lower control arm that i know of (although i think gray wants to make custom ones to widen the track in the rear)

steering wheel is off-centered.......
sounds like a tie bar problem
Can u just take my car to an alignment shop and they can fix it back to normal?
i think so.

alignment is usually around $35
rebalancing is usually around $9 per tire
call tire shops around your area... the price varies...

and you should do this as soon as possible because your tires will wear out if you drive around with messed up toe (unaligned)
I got somewhat suspension problem, yesterday I installed Dropzone lowering springs (2inch all around) and now when I'm making turns or backing up and making turns my front suspension is making clanking noise. Do I just need to let springs adjust to rest of suspension or is something fucced up ? The sound is really anoying. You cant hear it when going straight or when slightly turning. Just hard turns. Anybody know whats causing this ?
