A shop installed my Type-S rear sway bar along with energy suspension bushing, ebay rear tie bar and HKS rear section exhaust 3 weeks ago. After about a few days, I notice some kind of metal touching metal sound. At first I thought it was something in the trunk b/c the rear became stiffer. It only happens when I turn or drive on uneven road. Few days ago I took out everything in my trunk and the sound continues. The sound seems to occur more often. Any idea?
I don't think it is the grease b/c the guy who helped me to install it greased it pretty well. It didn't install it upside down b/c I checked already. The HKS rear section had tons of space and it didn't look like it would touch the sway bar or the body of the car. I would like to take it back to the shop but it is pretty far away(few hours drive). Please help!

I've got $20 on the fact that your exhaust IS rubbing the swaybar at times.
I've got the Neuspeed 22mm swaybar on my car with the DC TCS exhaust. Even though there appears to be lots of clearance, what you have to remember is the rubber exhaust isolators will allow enough travel in the exhaust pipe to come in contact with a larger diameter swaybar. Doesn't happen in every case, but I know in mine it does. Double-check the swaybar and the exhaust pipe and I'm pretty sure you'll find a tiny little bit on both where they're rubbing.
I've just gotten used to mine. Besides, in my case, I'll have to throw an Si exhaust system on there sooner or later. . . whenever I get to performing the swap.

Exact same thing with me. Except with the progress bar. It isn't the exhaust system hitting, i emptied out my trunk, didn't help, took out my rear deck, didn't help. Finally i took off my exhaust from the cat. Again it didn't help. I still have a thumping sound whenever I go over bumps. I'm really confused. If you solve it let us know!

Thanks for all the help!
Yukonart is right. It was the exhaust. However it wasn't hitting anything. The problem was the bolts. The bolts came with the exhaust were too long. Even though it was bolt down very tightly, there was room for movement. I threw back the OEM bolts and no more sound.
