Is air ride tight around turns? How much do all the bags and stuff weigh?

4 air cylinders, compressor, and tank(s), and rubber hoses... add that up then minus the stock suspention component that you will replace...

If you're into the performance side of suspension, I wouldn't get air ride. I have air ride and would never use it to take tight turns, etc... Air ride is more for show.

believe me if u have the setup done rite u could take turns faster than coils... im in the process of switching my setup to air tech's bolt on.. but wit cylinders and bags in front i could take corners faster than when i had performance springs on it... add the fact that u can drop a side and u could take turns at 80! you should see some of the **** i do wit my suspension =D

If u are more go than show, then bags are not for you. They ride nice but u can't race around corners on them, too hard on the bags. I like nitrogen better, i think that it rides nicer than air, but that could be just me. Nitrogen is faster than air if u wanna bang switches. Also nitrogen won't expand and contract with the temperature conditions like air does.

I tuck the front tire with mine. I had to cut the perch in the front though.

I have the EAI kit. I have air struts in the front. It comes with two plates that connect to the top and bottom of the air strut. There is still just enough room for the strut bag to sit on. But cutting the perch made a big difference. I also have 19's which I think helps out a little.

2low4u did the same thing. He cut the front perch off and now it sits a lil lower then it did before. I take a close up pic of the front this weekend. He didnt get the EAI kit but its very similar. Airstruts up front and bags in rear.

dragin... i run prototype strut bags in front and cylinders for the rear with 1/2" lines, fittings, and valves... 4 5 gal tanks .. 4 hardlined compressors... and i have no problem dropping a side to lean hard into a turn... recently f***ed up my strut but that's cause of a totally unrelated cause... drove over a pothole at around 80.. >=( f***in' cali highways...

as of now i lay in the front and lay in the back... and yes the compressors can make quite a bit of noise but you get used to it.. i just blast the music over em... and you can find some old pics of my setup of 2 tanks and hardlined compressors in my members rides... the setup and the drop looks completely different right now... i just need some time to post pics
