Agreed! And IMO the white rims on a dark colored ride is kinda played out IMO But as always...it's your ride...if you like it..then do it, get it, etc. Master

I am running on 215/40-18s and tomorrow I am switching to 225/40-18s. For 17s, you can go up 5% on the profile. The price is alright, could do better tho.
personally I don't like white rims on eternal blue, it destorys the elegance of the blue. I would if I had a white or red. I would go with silver, gunmetal, bronze, and maybe gold. Hehe, gold!?!?! yes, it would actually turn out pretty good, most people would hate in the beginning, but they will love it, you get more attention as well. well, I had 18 golds on my WRX before.

Most people are afraid to put gold rims on, cuz they think it's "ghetto" or just doesn't look right. But when they are on the car, most of them will think otherwise.

I think white and blue look good together but... I personally wouldn't do it.
IMO, you should choose what YOU like, not what everyone else likes.
My rims, are black on my EBP EM2. White does take away the luxory of the EBP. It may be a dark color like NBP but it stands out much better. White in a way would ruin that IMO.
I got White Motegi MR7s on my EBP Civic and I like them a lot. Gets lots of looks and I haven't seen too many other Civics with that goin' on so I don't know how "played out" it really is. It's important to stick with a color scheme with the white and blue tho. Keeping them clean is a chore but, then again, with the EBP Civic, keeping the entire car clean is always going to be. Everything shows up on that blue. Bottom line: Some like it, some don't. But get what YOU like. I love it.
ACTUALLY, the whites aren't all that hard to clean. I mean, I can understand if you're just plain lazy, but if you really take care of your car anyway, then it's not too bad. I drove mine through the whole winter up here in Ohio where we had the 3rd worst winter on record and parts of them turned yellow from the salt. I know, you're thinking "DUMBASS!" But I just waited til Spring, took a tooth brush and gasoline to those babies and they are as clean and white as the day I got them. If you're willing to put in the work, the whites will be gleaming. But I'm one of those crazy people that really like to make my car look good. Always!!
