Speedometer?
Speedometer?
I just ordered some 17x7in. rims for my car and a buddy told me my speedometer will be off, how much and what are the effects of aftermarket rims like these on my car?
It will be off, but what really makes a difference is not wheel size it's tire size. It won't be perfect but the size that matches the original tire size the closest will prevent you from having future problems down the line.

the closest tire size for your 17x7 is 215-45/17. The speedometer will always be off no matter what, there is always a margin of error, even if your stock tires are over or under inflated, your speedometer will be off. But 215-45/17 is the closest to the stock diameter.
