Question To Align or Not to Align

Alright heres the question? My car has already been aligned and is currently in the shop getting a new tranny. In order to speed up the process of getting the rims put on, i was wondering if I could take my new tires, get them mounted and balanced on some 17 inch rims and simply put them on myself. If the car has already been aligned, or should be aligned when i get it back(it went in for a new tranny and i figured they might as well do the honda 30,000 mile thing anyways)do i need to align the thing again; or can i just put the new wheels on myself when i get it back?

If the car is mis-aligned when you get it back from the dealership, Take it back to them and Make them fix it. Other then that, wheels should not change your alignment.

if it's not too much off, wait till the next 50K miles maintainenace for alignment, or get it now, could save your tires.
