did anyone ever have problem with these tires? like blowing a tire cuz of pot hole or rubbing cuzz car was dropped?
i have 1.75 drop on goldlines and was wondering if 215/35/18 would be safe way to go.

you wont rub even with a 2.5" drop do no worries there..
as for blowing tires cause of pot holes.. i dont think the tires will blow but ya of course you run the risk of bending your rim. just becareful and you should be fine.

Well talking to the guys around here apparently they have seen more bent 17" rims then 18" but I personally don't believe the guys. I think they just want to make more $$ off selling 18" rims. But either way you just have to be carefull and if you feel a lil worried get 215/40 then you can try 215/35 on your next set of tires. But yeah after running 17" on 215/45 I would definately do 18" without a doubt.

they probably arent lying... reason why they see more bent 17s is cause 90% of the people get 17s rather than 18s. and keep in mind you can bend 17s even easier then 18s as well. compare 205-40-17 vs 215-40-18, you have a better chance of bending those 17s..

I had small bends in my old Enkeis with 215/35/18 but we have some bad roads around here.
