New to Brakes

I'm really not familiar with what brand brakes are good. What suggestions does everyone have. AEM? I'm not sure what other brands are out there. Sorry for not searching but I do this posting crap here at work so I don't have much time to search....

someone said that the EBC green pads or wahtever give out more brake dust than AEM.

Green Pads? Doesnt that equal alot of green dust? Yeah AEM is makes about the best pad right now. After the Rims thats my next upgrade some slotted or drilled rotors and some Aem Pads. No need for a big brake kit on our cars. We dont autocross.
