RSX Type-S brakes and suspension swap??

I was wondering what would be involed with swapping the brakes and the sway bars from a new RSX Type-S to a 2001 Civic LX. Would the brake swap (4-wheel discs) be hard or would it be close to a bolt on, and what about the sway bars? Does anyone have a DIY or know how much work is involved with this? Any help is appriciated.

All I know for sure is that the rear sway bar fits perfect if your car already has it, so that depends on what year your LX is. The other stuff I'm not sure about, but I'm interested to know about the brakes, and what about struts and springs?

Check with mugenracerX (aka. Greg, Hondawerx guy)... He knows the ins and outs of the DC5 suspension swap because he and DC5@EM2 have the ITR suspension and brakes in the swap car. I don't know what was modified to fit them in, but I doubt too much. I take it you realize you're gonna need new rims... RSX has 5 lugs.

pretty much we have the same suspention set up... the wheels might stick out a little too much because the original width of the rsx's are wider...

you can pretty much get any suspention mod for the rsx and put it on our cars will little or no modification.

as far as i know, the front and rear strut bar fit( except for the intake in front) the sway bars fit, and the tein flex dampers fit with little modification, pm aswzero about this.

I know that for the rear sway bar you are going to have to "make" brackets. Your car doesn't come with one so you don't have the factory brackets like the rest of the years.
