can u paint rims or change the color of them?

can u paint rims or change the color of them?
just curious if u can, cuz if i get lots of scratches and stuff or if they get real dirty i might want to paint them or like do something so that it looks newer, is that possible or do u have to buy new rims?

you can paint them but usually that look scheap and very rice[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-puke.gif[/IMG], it also doesnt take long for it to start cipping if used on a daily driver, if anything, i would recommend powdercoating, like previously mentioned, it lasts a lot longer, isnt tooo terrebly expensive, and is how some manufacturers make THEIR wheels different colors. itll look a lot better than just sprayin them with a $4 can of krylon

Powdercoating is very durable. My old neighbor had a Neon that he autocrossed almost every weekend, which is abuse and then some, and the finish never got worn on his white powdercoat. If you have a lot of scratches though, and you like the current finish, you could maybe get them refinished. Its about the same price as powdercoating I believe.

Powder coating is great....everything here in Iowa is EXPENSIVE cause there are no real tuners [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-nono.gif[/IMG] and it would only cost me about $45 per rim to powder coat
