17" or 18"??????

17" or 18"??????
Okay i finally got enough money to buy rims, and i am torn as to get 17" or 18" my car is dropped pretty low i am wondering how bad 18"s rub with 215/40 tiers on them?

i have heard that with 215/35 the rim can get craked or bent easy. it will be my daliy driver but i think 18"s would give me that aggressive look[IMG]i/expressions/demon.gif[/IMG]

I like my 17's. Although I also bought pretty lightweight 17's at 15.5lbs. I also bought 215/45-17 tires. I had this one run-in with a curb and my tires cushioned the blow enough that I didn't kill my wheels. It was a very big blow too. Try 20mph or so...
If you're into performance then 17's are pretty much the biggest that you should get. They're good for autocrossing, although a lot of people run 16's too. Eh, whatever...
