low profile tires?

yeh im kinda new to cars and i was jus curious on how u can tell if tires are low pros. I mean like what are the sizes for them?

Depending on what size wheel you have.. example: 205/40ZR17
The 1st number represents the width of the tire in mm's (205)
The 2nd represents the ratio of height to width(/40) {the tire's width is 40% of it's height}
Thge "Z" is the speed rating ande the "R" means radial.
The last number is the diameter of the wheel in inches.

So, the higher the 2nd number is, the lower (thinner) the "profile" tire.
