I think most people will agree with me when I say that the Kumho supra 712s are the best bang for the buck. I don't have them, but i've heard nothing but good things about them

I have the Kumho 712's and I love them. They have about 7K on them and are not showing any singns of wear. Great tire overall. Only downside, with the low profile they are a bit noisy.. but thats a 205/40/17. But not too bad. Can tell if you have the radio on even at low volume.

Personally I HATED my Kumho 712's. Definitely spend teh extra money and get a better set of tires. And i know a lot of people will probably disagree with me but get the tires that FIT our civics. for 17" rims its a 215/45-17.

Even the tire store that installed my new set of tires said that they wouldnt sell Kumho 712's to someone they were that disapointed in them.

If you want to go cheap then get the Kumho's. If you want to do it right, spend a few extra bucks and get better ones. TireRack online has a users rating system on the tires available from them. Just research a bunch and be sure of what your getting, dont just get one set because some people "loved" them beacuse jsut as many people you dont talk to could "hate" them.

Omega hit the nail on the head, but if you are on a budget then I would go with the Yoko's; I have heard good things about them....

Stay away from the Nitto, I've heard TOO many horror stories about those. Several of my friends who own '00 Si's have the Kumho's and have had no problems with them.
Like civicboi said, they are probably the best bang for your buck.

The Yoko's. They are a GREAT tire and pretty cheap. They are much better than any of the other ones you listed.

When I got my 17" rims I wanted Yoko Avid H4's but they were sold out. So I ended up going with the Kumho 712 since they were on sale and my buds have them. My only problems with them are they have a little road noise which can be covered by a radio, and I have found they pick up a lot of rocks and I can hear them flying in my wheel well a lot. So I have to be careful turning sharp or I get rocks thrown all over my car chipping the paint. But other then that for the Price the Kumho 712 in a 215/45 works well with me.

Next Set will be Yoko Avid H4's though

Nick
