Will this cause any probs??

so im thinking about the tire sizes, and just how they will look, and this is what im wondering:

if i get 205/45/17's for the front and 235/40/17's for the rear tires, will that cause any problems? the main difference in the size is the width of the rear tires, and it is only to make the car look meaner and more muscular. i know its a FWD, but it could look real good with wider tires on the back. and since those dont turn and only roll front or reverse there shouldnt be any rubbing...right?? will 235/40/17 fit in the rear wheel well?

actually...what is the max size tire that would fit in the well?? if i get 235/45/17 in the rear (they are a bit taller than stock) will that fit or will it cause probs?

I think that combination will give you massive understeer.
If all you're after is looks, it should be ok.

1955 is an unknown quantity at this point
i wll think twice about the rear tires, check with tirerack by email or phone, their technicians be happy to tell u if it fits,i think it will look a bit too wide from the rear angle, dont think its a good idea,i only have 215/50/16 in the rear and its rubbin just a bit on the inner fender well close to the shock
