Same thing happened to me man and it was sooooo annoying... I pushed and pushed and pushed and still they popped out the sides. I was afraid even goin to a carwash thinking they would get ripped off.... anyways, I ended up takin em off.
Well that is one thing that you are just going to have to deal with when you put non OEM parts on your car. If they are too warped or distorted looking, then try to return them, but otherwise not everthing it going to fit perfectly.
I had that problem. One wouldn't fit flush and one would. I checked out the one that didn't and there was a screw that wasn't all the way screwed in on it. I guess they just half a**ed it when making them. I screwed it all the way and they fit fine now.
Hey man i had the same problem. i bought them from a place in orlando and i installed them. there where not flush on the corners. so i sent them back. i got another set in return, they fit a little bit better. eventually (1.5 months) they started to pop out. so guess what i have a set and i cant do anything with them. i ended up putting the stock in because the 2nd set chipped the trunk. well peace out.if you know of any sets that fit properly please let me know. take it easy and happy driving.ADAM
i bought mine at speedpeople.com and mine fit fine but it was hard getting the stock lights out because they had so many screws, me and mah bro just ripped them out and placed the altezzas on and man do they look sweet, ive had them since winter and i have no problems with it
My friend had the same problem with his '01 accord coupe. turned out that the gasket it came with was pushing the lens out at the corner. After many hours of slightly trimming the gasket and test fitting it, he finally got it flush. It could also depend on who you buy the lights from and their quality of fit. Some of them are probably cheaper and will never fit the way they should. However, you could probably trim the lens some how, just barely, so it will fit. I dont have them on my sedan so I wouldnt really know how or where to go about trimming them.
mine do the same thing. you know what works. waiting a little bit. the spacer foam that came with mine was flat and not contoured in about 3 months the foam countered and they look all right. not too noticeable. dont tighten the screws too bad you could strip the seals and that could lead to condensation in the taillight.
mine never went flush. They still stick out a little but it's not to bad
However I do get condensation on the inside of the lights when it gets to wet and hummid
Does anyone have any suggestions to prevent that?

The solution is simple. Push in or lean on the part that is sticking out and tighten the appropriate screws to hold it in position. Tighten the screw inside closest to where you're leaning then work out from there to the other screws. If it's still not right, try loosening one screw and tightening another.
