tire right or wrong

I have some rims with 205/45/16 yoka avid t4's anyways I was looking at the tire calculator and it looks like my tire is the wrong size and is going to make the spedomotor
go to fast I think. I was wondering if I should sell these tires and get them in 215/50/16 is this a good size or is it going to look to fat on my rims (chrome neeper
neptunes) I also want to drop my car and was thinking of going with nuespeed 1.7 drop I also have the oem body package. I dont mind the ground clearence I just want
to cover the wheel gap.

well the 215/50/16 circumfirance and diamator is almost exactly the same as stock size rim and tire according to tire calculator. Just wondering how it will look on the rim.
Also is that 1.7 drop going to lower my wheel gap if I leave my 205 /45/16 tire on or will it be to big of a gap. I actualy dont mind if its almost the same a stock
I just no that the 205/45/16 is a lot smaller in size than the stock tire. Plus I dont want to go lower than 1.7 because I have the oem body package.

honestly i think ur tire might look a bit fat.
but it depends on what you consider fat.
and taking it to the dealer to reset the speedo might cost ya.

I think that the 50 series tire will look fine on your car. Honestly you really wont be able to tell that they are any taller. Plus like someone said, the taller profile tire will fill in the wheel well a little better when you lower it.

I would like to see the pics of your car if you don't mind. You can e-mail them to me at itr145@bellsouth.net. I am looking into putting 16" wheels on my 02 Sedan but finding a tire in the suggested 215/50-16 is not easy it seems so far.

Thanks

I will also be running the Neuspeed Sports springs on the car as well. Have them already going on this weekend I hope then the wheels. Owned 17" on a Civic in the past and hated the ride. Then 3 sets of 16" of diff Civic's & always like that setup the best for sure.

You should be able to find a tire in the size you want. Have you looked at www.tirerack.com They have a large selection and you cant beat the prices. Ive ordered from them twice and it only took 2 days to get the tires both times. Check them out.
