I thought AEM has a pretty spendy rear disc conversion?

Try searching again using "disc" AND "disk". I'm not sure if you included the Other Products and Parts forum in your search, but a lot of the rear disc conversion threads are probably in there. The Wheels forum is only like one or two months old.

There are a couple of conversion kits out there. AEM and Brembo both make them, they're something to the tune of $1200-$1500. But I'm sure they're well worth it. I don't know if they make them for our cars yet, but I think the discs just have to match the bolt circle for the wheels.

best bet is to probably get the rear discs off an Acura 1.7 EL ... that stuff should bolt right on to the civic.
