Anyone here running 18 MR7's?

I really want to get a set of 18" MR7's by motegi. But when I asked the guy at the tire store about tires, he said that they dont make 215/40/18 's and I would have to get 225/40/18 's but then he told me those wont fit on my car..
I havent lowered my ride yet... I am planning on getting the rims and tires on, then adjusting the coilovers to the right height... prolly about a 2" drop.. maybe 2.5"
Can anyone here tell me what tire I should get and if 225's will fit on our cars... sorry I dont know too much about tires yet.

Thanks.
-Michael

Hey man, they're full of it. Falken tires come in 215/40/18s. I have a set and they are the best fit for 18".
If you're looking for a 7-spoke 18" wheel, send me a PM and i'll forward you some pics. I have had the set about
3 weeks and they are wrapped in those falkens which i'm looking to sell.

Hey Mike where did you go? and who told you that? They are full of it. 225 will not rub with an offset. Motegi's have a, either 40mm or 45mm offset so you should be ok. Plus with the B&Gs you will be able to adjust accordingly. I will just say you can find almost any tire size imaginable out there it is just a matter of it being an unusual size. If so then you end up paying more.
