LX vs. EX?

LX vs. EX?
my car is 2k2 Lx, and i noticed at dealer that Ex model "rear"suspension is lower than Lx model......its about 2 fingers high. So, does it just the tire difference , cuz Ex use 185/65/15, LX 185/70/14?.....so does it mean lower profile tire make it car lower look?
