Quick tire question

I just purchased a 2004 Honda Civic EX, my rim size is a 15 x 6. The tire size on it now is a 195x60x15. What is a good size to put on? I prefer to have good handling and a nice look to the car. what do you Honda owners recommend. A wider tire? 205 225 or stick with the original 195? If possible pictures so I can see the difference.
thanks

Re: Quick tire question

the reason why I'm changing my tires is because the tires are dry-rotted and two of the tires looks like they bubbled (maybe pinched)

Re: Quick tire question

Do you plan on doing anything with the car? Autocross/track days? If not just get the same sized tire. You could go up to a 205/55-15, anything wider than that on a 15" rim doesn't exist. Another option is to get a set of wheels with it, you could go up to a 16-17" wheel and have more tire size options.

I have a set of 195/60-15 that I keep on for regular driving. I have a set of 215/45-17 RE71s I use for autocross.

Re: Quick tire question

Thanks for all the info. After thinking more on it, I decided to stick with the stock tire size of 195 60 15.
Just a FYI. So I have been looking for the best deal on a set of new tires for my civic. After comparing different stores prices and sales. The best deal I came across is the deal Walmart is having on select few Goodyear tires.
I purchased a set of Goodyear Aviva 3 season tires for 42 each that total 182 dollars with taxes out the door. The sale is going on for the next few days if anyone is looking..

Thanks
Oscar
