Canadian backroads

I use my 2002 civic lx sedan on all roads bad back roads bad city to decint hiway.Want a some what lowered look with stock suspension .What wheel tire combo should I look at ?

What I read is 215 45 17inch looks good., the pic I seen looks to fill out the well good .What tire size would I use for 16 inch rims?

Not going to happen. Lowered look comes from a lowered car. A bigger wheel will just fill the wheel well area with more wheel, less tire but will not change the fender gap.

You said 215/45/17 looks good so you will need a 17" rim for that size tire. A 16" rim you could do a 205/50/16. Speedo will be off a little but not a lot.
