16x8 wheel off-set 2001 Civic EX Coupe (em2)

I need some help on what kind of wheels I can fit, without having to roll the fenders, or do any real modifications. I'm looking at some XXR 531's 16x8 with a +20 mm offset; will these work easily?

Re: 2001 Civic EX Coupe (em2)

Rule of thumb, if I remember correctly, was an offset between -35 and -45, and a 7.5" width was about the max. It has been a while since I last looked up rims, however.

I can tell you that 17x7's wrapped in 215/45-17's fit without issue, even when lowered about 2-2.5" lol

Do you know where to find the actually correct info on that, because it seems like different sites say different things.

just go to tires rack, enter car and wheel info, it should tell you if it fits

Found a source, of sorts. Not quite "official," per se, but it fits my rule of thumb and provides more information you may need

https://www.procivic.com/pages-honda...ide/index.html

For a 2001 non-Si civic, rim sizes between 14x5.5 and 17x7.5 (though, people here have run 18x7.5s) and offset of ET35 to ET45 (+35 to +45)

My rule of thumb incorrectly had negative offsets instead of positive. Numbers were on point though.
