Drum brakes snapped bolt

Tried taking off my drum breaks today and the bolt snapped off in the hole. The two holes that are supposed to help inch it off. Any ideas? If i can get the drum off ill just buy a new one or tap it out hopefully but i cant seem to get it off

Re: Drum brakes snapped bolt

Are there Phillips screws that need to be removed first?
I squirt rust buster in the threaded holes before breaking bolt off in it. If you can let it soak in for a while it helps.
Is there a second threaded hole you can break another bolt off in before giving up?

Hammer is probably next step IMO. Google/youtube how to remove brake drums?

Re: Drum brakes snapped bolt

Finally got it off. Just beat the hell out of it. Pb blaster helped. Replaced old one with 26$ new one. Appreciate the help.
