Hello everyone I hope you are having a good Christmas or holiday season.

For my 16th birthday my parents got me a 2004 civic EX that is black. I like the blacked out look so I want black rims. I would just go the route of getting new rims but the tires are pretty new and I don't really want to buy new tires if these are perfectly fine.

So my question is one is it corny or stupid to plastidip the stock EX rims black and two will it look bad if I do that. And three should I just do another color like vintage gold or something?

Thank you and any help would be great

Re: Plastidip stock 2004 Civic EX rims question
Its fairly common practice for people to plastic dip their rims and other parts of their cats. And if done right, I dont think it looks bad.

However, if you've got a few extra bucks, Imight look into getting them powder coated. Looks a lot better than plasti dip, IMO..

I think the stock 5 spoke rims will look worse plasti-dipped black, the spokes are too big for it to look good imo...If you've got the SE rims it might look okay
