185/70r14 to 215/75r14

I need some winter tires before the snow comes and I came across a set of 215/75r14 tires for a really good price. Since they are 14" rims will they replace 185/70r14 tires? I know they are a fair bit bigger but right now they're what I can afford.

No. They are not going to fit. You are going to rub because those are pretty much truck tires.

They would be severely pinched since your stock rim is only 6 inch wide whereas a 215 tire requires a seven or more inch wide rim.

thats definitely not a good size for a civic. 75mm is approaching or at SUV tire

lift car about 2" and remove wheel well lining, maybe you can get lucky to make tire not shred everything from fenders to liners.

tallal, 75 is a percentage of the section width, not height in mm
