Rims (help)

Hey guys am thinking about buying some rims but everything I see is to big , the only ones I like are some rota so I was thinking bout putting 17x8(FRONT) and 17x9(REAR) just wanted to know if the rims will fit well if I won't have any trouble turning or anything. My car is stock no suspensions or anything

RIMS SPEC

2 17X8 AND 2 PCS 17X9

Offset:+20

Hub bore:67.1

If you have any pictures I will love to see them

Thanks

Those won't even come close to fitting. The offsets are way to low.

Re: Rims (help)

wow. i have +45 offsets that are 7 wide and they rub some. i couldnt imagine a +20 offset thats also an inch wider.

the wheels u saw on the 2003 were probably the same type rim but different offset.

ah....that makes sense... a 9" wide rear...that calls for 255+ contact patch!

Re: Rims (help)

but in all seriousness, putting staggered rims on a FWD civic looks rediculously dumb and it is even more so when you put a 9" wide rim on the rear.

most people put a 7 or 7.5" wide rim...which allows for a 215 tire. some are brave enough to put 225 but they rub like mad if its not on a properly sized rim or their fenders arent rolled.

Re: Rims (help)

Just stay in specs and get a good quality tires. Keep your car clean and stay away from over stretched tires...
