Tire size question

I need some help with tire sizes. I'm looking to buy some wheels off my friend. Theyre just some cheap universal wheels he had on his crx. I want to swap them out with my stock steelies on my 02 em2. The wheels are gonna need new tires and the current ones are 205/55/r15. The tires on my car are 185/65/r15. I want to know if it's possible to swap my current tires over to the new wheels. thanks in advance.

Re: Tire size question

I tried googling it and a bunch of those calculators came up. I figured they would only tell me how the size of different tires would affect my speedometer. thanks though

Re: Tire size question

Where I would start is finding out the width on the wheels you are looking at getting. I believe that the stock 15" Honda wheel should be 6" wide if I can remember right.

Here is a good thread to take a look at if you have not already:

Also you may want to take a look at this pic it will help explain tire sizes more:

The link Running Riot gave for the tire calculator is the best one I have used. If you look at a few measurements you should be able to figure everything out. Good Luck!
