DO NOT ORDER FROM WHEELMAX
just my 2 cents, but i had no probs whatsoever with wheelmax. shipping was fast, etc etc. and i've talked to others who have had the same experience...unfortunately people goof up and yes sometimes the people working for them aren't the sharpest tools in the shed, but hey what can you do. anyways, after ordering from them twice, i give wheelmax a
I am ordering through Street Trendz so we will see how this goes. Yeah Whalentire.com kept having my rims out of stock so street trendz would match their price so I was all ok.
Sorry to hear of the bad experience with wheelmax, yeah discount tire is a rip they were quoting the highest of all places I talked to.

I've had no problems with wheel max. George was my salesman when i ordered my rims a few weeks back. He really helped me out in terms of figuring out what i wanted and what tires to go with and such. That sucks that they messed up your order. I'd still recommend wheelmax to anybody.
I got my wheels from wheelmax a couple weeks ago. Everything went well until I tried putting the wheels on. The lug nuts they gave me were ****. Under light torque the chrome cracked on nearly every lug nut. That really pissed me off because I just spent a sh!tload of money on wheels and then I have to go buy new lug nuts, which nobody sells within 30 miles. Sorry to ramble.
Ordered my rims from wheelmax on a friday and recieved them the following friday.
But yah id get your own lug nuts, i myself just used the ones that were already on there...the owner before put some 15" american racing rims and new lugs on before he sold the car so they were still good.
I'd also recommend to anyone to make sure and get yourself some lock nuts...never know when someone might want to borrow your rims.

I just got my 18" Tenzo Passion 5 from wheelmax last week and they got here no problem. Also ordered the tires from dicount tire direct. No problem there either. Only problem was with tire mounting guy with limited experience at the tire shop. Had to clue him in on a few things. He did an exellent balancing job though. He also said those tenzos balanced real easy not like some other aftermarket wheels. Wonder how many other kinds of wheels he was comparing them against........
If you guys are looking for a good place to order wheels go to Cbwheels.com Cbwheels.com
I tried wheelmax myself when I was ready to buy my wheels. But they seemed to not want my business so I went elsewhere. I had called to ask about availability of some wheels, which they didn't have in stock at the time. Instead of being nice and telling me it was going to be a wait, and maybe suggesting something alternative, they just hung up on me. I called back to ask when they would be in stock and they put me on hold only to be dropped in a few minutes.
That was when I went elsewhere.
I ended up going to 1010tires.com because they had Motegis (long story short, i wanted enkeis originally). I wasnt totally happy with them either. My order was delayed, the wheels i wanted in the colour i wanted were sold to someone else while my order was delayed. I went silver, got the order back going again and the sales guy told me my rims shipped. I checked them the next day and they hadn't shipped yet. So I called and he said they shipped but according to UPS they hadn't. They shipped them that day after my phone calls.
Then when they arrived, I got stuck with a $56 US charge for customs or something because they came from Canada to the US. Noone at 1010tires ever told me I was responsible for this charge or to expect it. When I got to UPS to pick them up, I had to fork over the money to my suprize. It was lucky I had the money or I would have been more upset than a Yugo owner, and prolly have gone bizerk.
The wheels were right, everything looked good, and they installed just fine without a hitch.
But you can bet if I need wheels again I'm going elsewhere.
Why do some shops do that? Don't they know if they do a number on their customers, they are losing business and the word spreads quickly around here.

I would DEFINATLY recomend Whalen Tire when I ordered from them they told me exactly what day why wheels and tires would arrive and... they did on the exact day they said.
