my friend has a 2005 honda civic coupe and he's using stock wheels which is 15x6 +45 offset...
he just bought a brand new set of wheels and specs is 17x7.5 and +40 offset and he's planning to use 215/45/17 tires...
the question is will it rub on the fenderwell? outer and inner? ill appreciate some answers! if you have that set-up let me know asap! need to replace tires soon!!! thanks!
please post some pics of your car if have that kind of set-up. thanks!

I had no issues with 215/45-17's and a +42 offset

great! do you have some pics of your car? do you mind if you send me some pics.. we test fitted the rims only on the car and we saw the gap/clearance of the rear is about an inch from the strut. we didnt try the front though.. you can pm the pictures. thanks!

I figured that the 2mm difference wouldn't matter much. I have a different tire size, but I'm lowered more than 1.5" right now, and I have a pic of the aforementioned setup lowered 1.3/1.4 f/r with tein s-tech springs

Is it normal for my 02 civic si to have about almost 4 inches of gap between the top of the tire and the fender when I look at it from the side?
Also will it look dumb if I left the suspension like that and put on 17" wheels? Wil that change or look different with the 17s?
