tire size ?

i have a lowered 04 civic coupe with 18s on it and i was told i could only run 215 35 18 is that true or can i run a more normal size tire without rubbing let me know cause i need a new set bad let me know asap

depends on how low you are, ur offset of ur rims, the width of ur rims, ur current tires.....etc.
and yes, 215/35 will most likely rub.

go with sticker tires, there is no point for you going wider than 205 on ur civic... ur handling isnt that great, so there is no point in getting the extra 10 (from 205 to 215)...

i have an '03 civic lowered 2" and i'm running 19's w/ 215/35/19 tires and still no rubbing. offset is 40. you should be fine with 215/35/18 as they have a slightly smaller overall diameter compared to the 215/35/19. you could also go with 215/40/18 tires but i don't see the point as they tend to be more expensive and make the rims looking smaller.

if you want my opinion, i would stick to 215/35/18.

why run 18's??? news flash civics are slow (stock) and even slower with wheels that big on them.

each person has different set of values. he could care less about the horrible performace.....but as long as he's got them 18" dubs on his civic....... YOUUUUUUUU KNOOOOOOOOOOOOOW~!
