Suggestion for 19" Chrome Rims
Re: Suggestion for 19" Chrome Rims
Lookin for chromeys eh?
my suggestion look for a manufacturer named Zinik!
Check out
www.tirerack.com
www.wheelmax.com
There rims look real good on civics ive seen them myself inperson in 18's tho not 19s.
Dont mind all the hating on chrome and it being for caddys n so forth thats just some of these guys opinion and if you really look around the forum you'll see how they love the bandwagon lol
Remember this is your car and not theirs.

Re: Suggestion for 19" Chrome Rims
I like chrome as much as the next guy but they're going to be hella heavy like people say. I might as well throw in my suggestion of 18s with a chrome lip, these are mine and they're about 23 pounds each.

Re: Suggestion for 19" Chrome Rims
I think they are 40'' ... so the next time one of you chrome/big rim haters speaks out about what people are putting on their civics...take a look at what that one dumb *** did. Go on a caprice forum and bitch about 24'' rims with LIFT kits...now that's retarded. Not a tasteful set of 18, 19 or even 20'' chrome on a civic.
btw...I'm ridin 18'' CHROME and lovin it, but if one of you haters wants to get me some 19 or 20'' black w/ polished lips feel free, you can sponsor my car and put chrome sucks stickers on it if you dislike it that much.

Re: Suggestion for 19" Chrome Rims
didnt mean to give u greif man, just wanted to laf a little, i think 18s look great, wish i could afford them, sittin on little ol 17s myself, would love to see some pics of it
Re: Suggestion for 19" Chrome Rims
In my opinion: Unless you drive a sedan or you plan on putting a bodykit on you car, Or a lip kit then I think that 18's are fine for 7th gen Coupes.
I personally Don't like the way this car Looks. These are black 19's, I have these same rims in 17's hyper black. It looks like the car is floating in the air, and it has no lip kits, etc
Too big for my taste on a Stock looking Coupe.

These are 18's. I personally Like these rims (Konig Unknowns). 18's are fine with me. They may look smaller because they have a Bigger lip. (which makes the Rim diameter look smaller. (I guess)

I'm in need of a digital camera. I'd sell my rims for a good price but i think shipping would pretty much ruin the deal since it'd be a lot of $, unless anyone lives in the state of NY (upstate/central/western).

Re: Suggestion for 19" Chrome Rims
chrome wheels just don't look good because people buy cheap *** chrome wheels, $600 for a set of 18" chrome wheels are gonna look horrible.
Just like Kasimmmmm posted. Advan makes some sick as chrome wheels, RGII, RS etc. Your gonna pay money for them but that's the price you pay for nice wheels. Now if you done Rays, Advan, Work in chrome i would say you can pull it off. If you go to tirerack.com, ebay, or some other place and buy chrome rims then you might as well junk your car.
People are always looking to get bigger and better things, but won't spend the money on it. Good stuff isn't cheap, that's why it's not $800 like the other no name brand. People go so damn cheap when buying stuff, save your money until you can afford it.
20" chrome wheels on a civic or any other import related car is retarded. Rock an 17" or 18" chrome Advan, Gram Light or something man, at least show you have style.
acchione, plz tell me your were kidding when you said you had an eye for good things and excellent taste. so far all the stuff you've posted is great at all.

And yes, I have an eye for good things, I bought quality parts for my car and after all...I did buy a CIVIC.

Re: Suggestion for 19" Chrome Rims
Chrome can Look good on Civics if done right. It also depends on the type/style of the rim. The rims should be the ones that go on import/tuner cars Not luxury cars or SUV's.
People are not bashing on big rims or chrome on Civics, but if it Looks like it belongs on an Escalade then leave it there.
I have also seen people spend so much money on 15's and 16's wheels
Just for that "JDM" style or look, Its crazy. I'm not into that "JDM" fad/trend but I think that's the best way to go when you have a Honda, and especially a Civic.

This is the Look that I like, when it comes to Chrome. Nice & Clean =) These wheels go with this car. Acura TL = Luxury/Sports sedan. You notice how he did not buy HUGE rims or 24's. He bought the Right size, he could go a little bigger too, I guess. But these rims are not cheap, you can't just go to Pep Boys and buy them. It's true what Drew said.
Just My Opinion

I said that because anything Different that you would do to your car people Might label you as a ricer. Like if you buy Chrome altezzas to match your chrome wheels. Just saying ......

Re: Suggestion for 19" Chrome Rims
Yea, if you're not "JDM" people love to throw around the term "ricer". Some consider anything that's not OEM or JDM to be ricer but I'd say ricer is more like APC stickers and flames all over the place. But that's just me.
Even when we all drive civics...people find a reason to bitch about other peoples preferences.

Re: Suggestion for 19" Chrome Rims
if i'm not mistaken, those are Sevas S22's, that is a luxury/sports car, the honda civic is no where near an acura tl, tsx. 20's on our civic's are retarded. 19's done right are nice. and $2000 for your chrome wheels is retarded. You could have got alot nicer wheels for that same price.

Drew22mader:
The Bazo B52's are about $2100...at least thats the cheapest I could find them so far, if you can find them for cheaper please let me know...and i'm in canada, so that gets converted to canadian which is about $2227...the i pay tax on it, which is about $2516 total...oh ya, plus shipping ....so they're not very cheap..
By the way, the rims you posted aren't my style of rims...i prefer somehin like the B52s that acchione posted..

Re: Suggestion for 19" Chrome Rims
Well it took me every bit of 2 minutes to find a B52 wheel and tire package, well below $2100-$2300. Cheapest i found was $1750 with Toyo Proxe 4's on it. and there are about 10 different packages with different tires under the $2100 mark.
I think the wheel is ugly as hell. It doesn't belong on a civic at all. No matter what size wheel it is.
I can't believe someone would spend $2500 on a set of chrome 20's for our car. Whenever i hear the word chrome 20's i picture SUV's and 300C's and such.
I guess style/function isn't for everyone.

Re: Suggestion for 19" Chrome Rims
I bought them a few years ago so I'm not sweating the price at this point in time. I priced out some 19's the other day and they were only a couple hundred more than 18's. The prices have gone down somewhat since I purchased mine.
Re: Suggestion for 19" Chrome Rims
If you can find me some 5 spoke rims with that type of style, I would gladly consider..

Re: Suggestion for 19" Chrome Rims
Well put it this way, 18" with RMC finish is $650 a piece. so prolly add another $150-$200 per wheel for the Titan lip and then for 19" if they even offer it for 4x100. Your gonna be looking at like $800-$1000 or more for 19".
